We don’t compromise the safety of our meats by doing this, this uses less energy making the bags, & makes them easier to recycle. The clear recyclable pouches we are now using are stronger & thinner by 20%,which is a good start to reducing our Carbon Footprint. We are trying to reduce the amount of plastic used each year in production & we are trying to find cheaper bio-degradable plastics to use as an alternative. The packaging will protect the meat when stored in the fridge or freezer when being delivered to your door, also when bringing up to temperature before cooking. The Breasts are vacuum sealed making it easy to keep frozen in our clear recyclable pouches. Producing all our meat products like this ensures a natural taste with no cross contamination, & makes the safest products possible. All our butchers & production staff are health checked before entering the premises & full protective clothing must be worn in the cutting rooms.
